The Halter was founded on May 1, 1921 and is based in gym Old at Heycopplein in Utrecht. The wrestling division is a leader in the Netherlands and even in Europe well known. This is partly due to the fact that the Halter organizes each year "the International Easter Tournament" for youth wrestlers organized with 600 participants from 17 countries. Partly because the new property, The Halter can also undertake new activities . Thus, we are responding to the (sports) need from the neighborhood and find daytime eg childcare place. The number of members has grown by offering recreational sports to more than 250.
